Stephen Mangan is hosting TV's newest reality contest The Fortune Hotel, but has amassed a fortune of his own over his hugely successful career as an actor, writer and presenter.
In ITV's The Fortune Hotel, viewers will see Stephen, 55, preside over 10 pairs of contestants who've moved into a Caribbean hotel and been given a briefcase - but only one duo's contains the £250,000 jackpot that they are all competing to be holding at the end of the game.
With a Traitors vibe to it, the contestants will have to bluff and scheme their way to victory as Stephen tries not to play favourites, having admitted he found it difficult to film after finding out each pair's reasons for wanting to win the lifechanging amount of money.
Off screen, Stephen has carved out an eclectic career after suffering trauma early in his life and has built up his own fortune from varied roles, including a little-known connection to Harry Potter.
