TV star Sarah Greene revealed that her beau was a close friend of her late husband, Mike Smith, and she believes he "pulled the strings" to bring them together.

Sarah, 66, is best known for hosting Blue Peter and Saturday Superstore – and now stars on BBC One's quiz show The Finish Line alongside Roman Kemp.

She was married to Mike, a former Radio Breakfast Show and Top Of The Pops presenter, from 1989 until his untimely death in 2014 at the age of 59 due to complications following major heart surgery.The TV host revealed back in 2022 how she is romantically involved with one of Smith's oldest friends, ex-British touring car champion Robb Gravett, and she even suggested that Mike played a part in their relationship.

Speaking on the My Time Capsule podcast, she said at the time: "I sort of know Mike is pulling so many strings in my life." She continued: "He has undoubtedly been responsible for me meeting my beloved who was one of his oldest friends, who waited a certain amount of time but did keep leaving messages on the answering machine.
