Kumail Nanjiani recently revealed that he lost out on a major role in a Hollywood film because he refused to play up his Pakistani accent.
The Eternals star opened up about how he still struggles to find auditions where people don’t ask him to do a Pakistani accent to land “stereotypical brown guy roles.” Although the actor did mention that he would never shy away from flaunting his accent if the role demanded it, he asserted that he did not feel comfortable doing it just for comedy.
