The Enda Kenny Show? Former Taoiseach to present new TV series!
evoke.ieTuairisc.ie revealed that the fluent Irish speaker would be fronting an RTÉ One show about trains!The series is made for the national broadcaster by the company Feiristeach Sonas Productions, which has made many successful programmes for RTÉ and the BBC.It is believed that the show is due to air later this year and into 2021, with three episodes already being filmed.The series will look at the old railways in Mayo and adjoining counties, as well as throughout the country.
And apparently he’s having a great time filming the series as he’s found a real passion in the history of the railroad.A century ago Ireland was completely connected by rail which was then completely pulled back, and many of these old lines now make up the successful cycle.
