The government has been told to "get a grip" over coronavirus lockdown rules that have left police officers confused. Another weekend saw sunbathers once again moved on and quizzed by police across the country, but hundreds were allowed to queue at B&Q stores.
The DIY chain opened 130 branches across the UK over the weekend, which saw customers flock to their nearest outlet. But Ken Marsh, chair of the Met Police Federation, said the force need clearer guidance over what is and isn't allowed during the lockdown.
