‘The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin’ Renewed For Season 2 By Apple TV+
deadline.comApple TV+‘s notorious highwayman is back. The streamer has greenlit a second season of Noel Fielding-starrer The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, which will see another round of fantastical adventures for the lead.
In the irreverent retelling set in the 18th century, Turpin is the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship and great hair.
Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavors, including a brush with celebrity.
The first season also starred British comics including Ellie White, Dolly Wells and Mark Heap, and Apple said Season 2 will feature “a host of great British comedy talent.” Written by Fielding, Richard Naylor and Jon Brittain, the series is produced by The Outlaws maker Big Talk Studios.
