The Chase star Paul Sinha has told viewers to 'cherish life' after discussing his experience with Parkinson's disease on Loose Women.

The 51-year-old was first diagnosed with the progressive disorder in May 2019 but told the ITV talk show panel he is "fighting fit." Lead host Kaye Adams began by asking the chaser: "It's Parkinson's Awareness Week this week Paul, can I ask how you are?"He replied: "I'm fine to be honest with you,I was diagnosed in 2019 which was a bit of shock to the system having spent two years with a troublesome right shoulder."But to be perfectly honest with you, covid has been more part of my life than Parkinson's because Parkinson's is quite a slow process compared to a global pandemic."So I've had more worries with covid than Parkinson's because I'm not quite where I was two years ago for sure but I'm still fighting fit."According to the Mirror, Kaye then asked: "What was it like with the shoulder?

Was that linked to the Parkinson's?"'The Sinnerman' began: "Well apparently..."However, he paused to add: "Please don't panic if you've got a frozen shoulder by the way, but apparently a frozen shoulder is a relatively common presentation of Parkinson's disease."But for a year and a half I only saw orthopedics specialists, not neurological specialists."Paul was then asked what advice he would give to others who think that they may be showing sings of having the disorder. He said: "In general terms if you have anything that you're worried, the NHS is still one of the greatest things we have and it's there for you and you've paid your taxes to use it so...""Go and see your GP, if you're worried about any aspect of your health, go and seek help.
