The Chase star died in 'horrible circumstances' with shocked fans paying tribute

Tribute poured in for an ITV The Chase star who tragically lost his life in a house fire. A repeat of Pete Green's episode of the ITV show aired in October last year, with the player going up against Paul Sinha.

It initially appeared on our TVs back in 2021.This prompted fans of The Chase to take to social media to pay tribute to him following his death.

One viewer wrote at the time: "Can't watch this without feeling a bit sad." A second said: "Beloved Pete, God Bless him. Rest in Eternal Peace." And another chimed in with: "Pete the legend." Pete sadly passed away before his episode made it to the air, with chaser Paul later paying tribute to him on social media.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Paul said: "Saddened to hear that Pete from today's Chase has since passed away in horrible circumstances.
