ok.co.ukThe Chase have reportedly hired former contestant Darragh Ennis as the sixth quizzer on the popular ITV show.The Irish star competed on the series back in 2017, where he banked £9,000 before his teammates took lower offers, decreasing their fund by £2,700.
At the time, the hashtag #JusticeforDarragh started trending as fans started a GoFundMe page in a bid to raise the money he'd earned on the show.
However, Darragh's knowledge and skill clearly managed to impress the chaser as well as ITV bosses as he's now thought to have been offered a full time position as a quizzer.
He'll be joining the likes of Anne Hegerty, 61, and 49 year old Paul Sinha, who recently admitted to feeling "anger and guilt" after his friend tragically died from.
