Ian Evatt believes Bolton Wanderers have rediscovered their foundation and become hard to beat again as their new shape has provided them with a platform.
Wanderers have switched to a new formation of late with three at the back, which was a common sight in the first half of last season.
In the latest iteration of that formation, Ricardo Almeida Santos is in the heart of the back three, flanked by Gethin Jones and George Johnston. Evatt believes the defensive steel shown in the victory over Shrewsbury Town must be their new foundation as he believes that the new signings made in January have helped to change things.
