‘The Boys’ Prequel ‘Vought Rising’ Casts ‘Blue Bloods’ Alum Will Hochman (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter “Vought Rising,” Amazon’s upcoming prequel to “The Boys,” has added Will Hochman to its cast, Variety has learned exclusively.
Hochman joins previously announced leads Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash in the series, which was ordered at Prime Video in July 2024.
Variety also reported that Mason Dye, who will appear in “The Boys” Season 5 as Bombsight, could also potentially appear in “Vought Rising.” Exact details on Hochman’s character are being kept under wraps. “Vought Rising” has been described as a “twisted murder mystery” that will take place in the 1950s and will see Ackles once again play Soldier Boy while Cash will again play Stormfront, a.k.a.
Clara Vought. The show is expected to begin production later this year. Hochman recently starred in five seasons of the hit CBS procedural “Blue Bloods” in the role of Joe Hill.
