Just days after it was announced that the Stephen King adaptation Children of the Corn found a distributor, the trailer for another King movie has dropped, The Boogeyman.20th Century Studios debuted the trailer on Sunday, with the film now set for a theatrical release on June 2.The trailer comes just days after The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the film was moving from a Hulu streaming service release to a theatrical release following strong test screenings.

The trailer begins with a father Will (Chris Messina) who is tucking in his daughter Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair) for bed, though he adds, 'I don't know how you sleep with all these lights.''What are you scared of?' the father asks, as she points to a closet, as he goes to check it and doesn't find anything, declaring, 'Monster check complete' before closing the door.
