The Body Coach Joe Wicks has left his followers stunned with a photo of his baby daughter Leni. The fitness guru shared snaps of himself and wife Rosie in Santa Monica with their children Indie, four, Marley, three and seven-month-old Leni, who they welcomed in September.
Joe, 37, posted a striking picture on Instagram of his youngest child dangling from a metal playground bar as he looked on proudly, leaving some fans even wondering if it was real and not photoshopped.
As fans rushed to comment, it was explained that babies are born with the Palmar grasp, a primitive clinging reflex which causes the baby to involuntarily close their fingers around an object placed in their palm and hang on.
The reflex is said to have evolved as it is essential to survival in primates, where the young can be safely carried while grasping on to the fur as the mother forages for food or moves from one place to another.
