The best schools in Greater Manchester have been revealed with GCSE results showing how they performed for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Here in Greater Manchester the list was dominated by grammar schools in Trafford. Altrincham Grammar School for Boys has the best performance figures of any state secondary in region. That puts it ahead of neighbouring Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (99.0%), Urmston Grammar Academy (98.7%) and Sale Grammar School (98.4%).
