‘The Bear’ star Matty Matheson launches new hardcore band Pig Pen with Alexisonfire guitarist

The Bear star, restauranteur and celebrity chef Matty Matheson has announced the launch of his new hardcore band, Pig Pen.Matheson took to social media to announce the band, which also feature’s Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire on guitar and backing vocals while Matheson serves as the band’s lead vocalist.

The rest of the group is completed by indie-country artist Daniel Romano on guitar, Romano’s brother Ian SKI Romano on drums, and Young Guv/Romano collaborator Tommy Major on bass.Matty Matheson wrote on Instagram that the band have already recorded an album, and went on to explain how they came together: “A few old friends got together a couple years ago and wrote and recorded 10songs over 2 days.

We just wanted to hang out and see what’s up. This is our band. we are Pig Pen.”The band also shared a snippet of a song and a clip of its music video, but have not confirmed when it will be released.

Pig Pen have also announced their debut show, which will take place on April 25 at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto, Canada.A post shared by MATTY MATHESON (@mattymatheson)The show will also include performances from Best Wishes and Pluto’s Kiss.
