Speaking to Empire, filmmaker Matt Reeves talked about his inspirations for the character of Bruce Wayne in “The Batman.” Instead of being the billionaire playboy, a darker Tony Stark, if you will, which is how he is often portrayed in the comics, Reeves wanted to go in a different direction.
