Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Maria Georgas was signed, sealed, and ready to become the next Bachelorette. “I was offered the role. It was mine until I said it wasn’t,” Georgas said during her Call Her Daddy podcast appearance on Wednesday. “It became very overwhelming to the point where I had to decline.” Georgas said that she’s “been trying my hardest to stay silent” about what happened in order to support Jenn Tran, but wanted to “be honest” going forward.

It got so far along, she told Alex Cooper, that she was “doing fittings” for the show. “It was set in stone. I was in it,” Georgas said. “When everyone around me was so supportive of me being in this position and everyone wanted this for me, I took a second.

I’m like, why am I not happy? Why am I not excited about this? It took me realizing that it’s just not my time where I was like, respectfully, I need to decline.

I need to take a step back.” Georgas said she was “not in the right headspace” to be The Bachelorette star. “I know the extensive process it was to be on the show.
