An "authentic" Glasgow restaurant is currently serving up a Sunday roast for two with dessert for just over £50.Mharsanta is a traditional yet contemporary restaurant and bar that serves up seafood, pies, and of course roasts in a relaxed setting.
With its name being Gaelic for 'merchant', Mharsanta is situated in the heart of Glasgow's bustling Merchant City.Currently, a meal for two that includes a Scottish Sunday roast and trio of desserts can booked for just £52 through Virgin Experience Days.
According to the gift experience website, the meal consists of "a traditional home cooked Sunday Roast Beef served with mashed and roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, delightful Yorkshire pudding and topped with gravy".Meanwhile, customers can enjoy a chocolate brownie, a homemade cheesecake of the day, and a traditional cranachan to share.
The latter consists of Scottish raspberries, whisky, cream, and oats.Mharsanta makes use of seasonal and local produce for its dishes.
