Former The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner shockingly claimed contestants were made to line up from "ugliest to prettiest" during the shows audition.

Thomas appeared on series 15 of the BBC show and said there would be dozens of people from all over the UK hoping to be selected, in a room arguing over their looks. "Before you go on the show you go through the interview stages and you’ve got people from all over - from London, from Ireland, from Manchester, and you’re in this room and they told us to line up from ugliest to prettiest," he claimed to Daily Star.

According to the former market trader, it was complete "carnage" as hopeful contestants started squabbling about who was better looking, as reported in The Mirror."And you don’t know who these people are and you’ve got people arguing about who’s the prettiest."Since appearing on the show, Thomas welcomed a baby named Henry with his partner Sinead at the end of 2020.The entrepreneur previously opened up about the sheer "panic" he felt when his crying fiancée told him their baby's heart rate dropped during induced labour, as the dad wasn't allowed into the hospital due to coronavirus restrictions.Henry's heart rate thankfully went back up but Sinead was kept in overnight before she went into labour.

Thomas told OK! magazine of the experience: "It was well scary. Sinead rang me up crying, and I couldn’t do anything to help.
