Wigan, on New Year's Eve.People living nearby reported hearing fireworks being set off before several police cars descended on the industrial estate as the party went on into the early hours of New Year's Day.Lighting, DJ equipment and heaters were seized from a unit at the back of the site.

Three fixed penalty notices were issued.Officers are trying to track down the organiser.The owner of the unit, Michael Martin, arrived at the site this afternoon and was shocked to discover the mess left behind.Mr Martin - a mechanic who runs Midas Motors from two units on the industrial estate - said he had no idea who was behind the rave and that people broke in.The said: "I have just come down this morning to get de-icer for my daughter and I found.
