Reducing our outgoings is a hot topic at the moment, not least our rising food bills. So it's no surprise that a £28.07 Asda shop is causing such a stir.
A photo of some of the products from Asda's full Smart Price range has been shared online after the retailer extended its budget Smart Price and Farm Stores ranges into all stores.
The move, which comes after food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe highlighted the lack of availability of budget products, means that all 200 products are available in 581 stores as well as online. "Well done @BootstrapCook (Jack) - love to see this," he said.
The photo, which has been liked hundreds of times, shows everything from tins, jars and rice, to sauces, cordials and cleaning products.
