Thai Horror Film ‘Night Shift’ Set for AFM Launch, Stars Chatchai Chinnasri
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Bangkok-based horror studio Night Edge Pictures will present Thai horror film Night Shift at the upcoming American Film Market.
Currently in production, the film will be completed by the second quarter of 2025. Night Shift stars Chatchai Chinnasri (The Undertaker) and Neko Naerunchara (4 Kings).
The film is directed by Chaiwat Sitalasai (Spirit of Ramayana). Shot in a single take, Night Shift tells the story of a desperate and dirt-poor Khun (played by Chatchai), who decides to pack things up to have a better life in the city.
He then takes on a shoddy night shift job in an abandoned apartment. After the building’s superintendent hands him the keys and leaves him in charge for the night, Khun starts to hear noises he believes are coming from people inside of what should be an abandoned apartment.
