Supermarket giant Tesco has announced it will be giving £700 to shoppers for the Jubilee Bank Holiday. The retailer is doing it in a bid to give to kind people who deserve a treat something in return.
To help Britain celebrate the Jubilee, Tesco is calling on the nation to nominate community heroes who have been ‘royally good’ via its social channels.
This comes as research reveals only a quarter (25%) of the nation feel they do enough to celebrate the everyday heroes in their life The limited-edition card will give 70 crowned winners £700 to spend in-store or online.
To launch, Tesco surprised 19-year-old Sebbie Hall from Lichfield with the first ever Tesco Jubilee Card, delivered by a specially appointed Tesco ‘delivery corgi’, to thank him for his ‘royally good’ deeds for his local community.
