Tesco has brought back its popular Clubcard Challenges rewards scheme this month, but not all shoppers are happy about it. The promotion, which was first launched in August last year, gives customers spending challenges they can choose to complete to win Clubcard points.

The challenges are available for certain shoppers to take part in from now until Sunday, March 9. Tesco shoppers can win up to 5,000 points, which equates to £50 to spend, by taking part in the challenges.

But to earn the top amount you must complete all ten challenges you are set. Or, if shoppers complete the challenges but don’t need the points for shopping, then can redeem up to £100 worth of vouchers from one of Tesco’s partners such as Cineworld, Pizza Express and Thorpe Park.

Outside of the Clubcard Challenge, during a regular shop, £1 awards you with one Clubcard point, and 100 of these add up £1 worth of Tesco vouchers.
