Tesco shoppers angry after home deliveries cancelled due to 'system issue'

Tesco customers are reporting an influx in order cancellations after 1pm due to 'a system issue'. Customers phoning for updated on their orders have reported being told by an automated that: "Due to technical issues we've had to cancel all orders after 1pm.

If your order was due after 1pm you have not been charged. "We're unable to reschedule these order." Customers were then informed that they have to place a new order on the Tesco website. It hasn’t turned up . I rang to find out why and there was an automated message that said it had been cancelled due to ’technical issues’.

No warning and no apology. What are you going to do about this @Tesco?" It appears that the technical issue has appeared unexpectedly with some customers reporting that their grocery order was cancelled without any warning.
