Tesco issues warning to shoppers over Clubcard points

ECHO. The Tesco Clubcard scheme is one of the UK's most popular loyalty programmes. Clubcard members collect one point for every £1 spent in-store and one point for every £2 spent on fuel.Every 150 points collected is worth £1.50 to spend in-store or online, but can be worth up to three times as much when spent through Tesco's reward partners, which include Virgin Atlantic and Pizza Express.Until Monday, August 24 shoppers will just need to scan their Clubcard app in store to pick up double the points.

The points will then show on the app within five-seven days.It means customers will be able to get double the points of their usual shop.Customers will need to download the app if they do not already have it on their smartphone and scan that.
