Tesco, Asda and Lidl urgently recall products including tinned fish and ready meals due to contamination

Asda, Tesco and Lidl are among the major supermarket chain's across the country that have issued urgent recalls for a variety of products due to health and safety concerns.

The product recalls were announced after the risky products were published to The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website, reports Wales Online.

Included in the latest recalls are a jar of contaminated pasta sauce and incorrectly labelled tins of fish and ready meals that may cause harm to anyone with allergies to the undeclared ingredients.

Shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers for any of the listed products which can be returned to the store they were purchased in for a full refund.
