Terrifying moment woman 'attacked with machete' in Glasgow as police review online content

Shocking footage shows a hooded thug repeatedly hitting the victim with a weapon in broad daylight.The sickening clip, filmed in Ruchazie earlier this month, has now surfaced weeks on from the incident.
We previously reported that a huge emergency response was scrambled to Gilbertfield Street on Tuesday, August 6.Emergency services including armed cops raced to the street at around 5pm that evening.
The woman, 49, was rushed to hospital following the incident, where it is understood she was treated for “slash wounds”.Police Scotland launched a probe into the violent attack and have told the Record that they are reviewing "online content" as part of their probe into the incident.In the clip, a hooded thug, believed to be a man, is seen wielding a large weapon with two hands whilst a helpless woman tries to desperately defend herself.The woman suffers a series of blows, with the attacker striking her legs before attempting to slash her face.
The woman is seen putting her hands up in a bid to protect her head before trying to escape.The attacker then lashes out with a kick as the woman tries to flee and aims one final blow to her back as she runs off.
