‘Terrifier’ is getting its own video game
nme.comTerrifier 3 is currently outselling Joker: Folie à Deux at the US box office and now a video game based on the horror franchise has been announced.Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is due for release at some point in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
The game will see players take on the role of Terrifier’s slash-happy killer. “Become Art The Clown, the sinister and unpredictable villain from the Terrifier series, as you unleash chaos across a variety of locations.
Each stage is a movie set where a film about Art is being produced, but you’re here to disrupt the show,” reads the official description.Promising a whole lot of “pixelated carnage”, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is described as a “gory retro fighting beat ’em up packed with intense action, dark humor, and tons of fun,” and has been inspired by the classic beat ’em up games of the ‘80s and ‘90s.How cool is this??.
