John, from Caldercruix, tried to protect his pet but was forced to watch the pit bull sink it's teeth into Buddy who helplessly cowered in his arms.The traumatic incident happened almost a year ago on February 26, 2020 but the dog's recovery didn't go to plan, leaving him in agony for the past 11 months.Now John must fork out more than £4,500 to pay vet bills, or medics will be.
