Manchester Day returns on Sunday, June 19, after a two-year absence, due to Covid. Little Amal, the giant puppet of a Syrian girl refugee who captured the imagination of thousands when she came to the UK in October last year, will be walking through the streets, as part of the Manchester Day parade, alongside floats and performers.

Meanwhile, city squares at Piccadilly Gardens, Cathedral Gardens, and Exchange Square will be filled with music, dance, and performances from communities from around the world.

It is intended to let communities celebrate pride in the city, to show what makes them feel Mancunian. And that's what we want to know.
