was released from prison early back in April and has since made his music comeback with new single Gooba, but his celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Wright wanted to mark the occasion by giving Tekashi a new look.

Wright was the brains behind Tekashi’s multi-coloured lace-front braids and he told Page Six, he managed to convince the star to wear a wig the day before he shot the Gooba music video with Nicki Minaj. ‘Tekashi was sitting there and I looked at him, I said, “I’m putting a wig on you,” and he said, “boy stop, you ain’t putting a wig on me,”‘ Wright explained. ‘And that was the day, I believe, when he shot Gooba with Nicki.’Wright was also the brains behind another look of Tekashi’s – his green and purple hair – that ended up going.
