Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘begged a judge to be released from prison early’ due to his fears over the coronavirus. The STOOPID singer is currently serving a two-year sentence for racketeering and reportedly wants to be released amid the pandemic as he has asthma.
Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, fears he will catch Covid-19 behind bars. According to a letter obtained by TMZ, his attorney Lance Lazzaro asked the judge to release his client as soon as possible.
Sent on Sunday 22 March, the letter states the concern that having asthma will mean catching the virus will be a lot more serious than if a normal person got it.
