Tej Lalvani announces upcoming Dragons' Den series will be his final one

Tej Lalvani has announced he will part ways with Dragons' Den after the next series. The hit BBC show - which first launched in 2005 - is set to return for its 18th season this spring, which will be Tej's final one.

Tej will be joined by fellow investors Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Sara Davies and Touker Suleyman as they assess potential investment opportunities put forward to them by aspiring entrepreneurs.

The star, 46, said his reason for leaving was to devote more time to his business interests. "I'm truly excited for the upcoming series of Dragons' Den, which looks set to be one of the best," the Vitabiotics CEO said. "However after an incredibly enjoyable four years as a Dragon I have decided that this next series will be my last,"
