A teenager has been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into a garden wall in Stockport. Police were called to reports of a crash on Broadstone Road in Heaton Chapel at around 2.30am this morning (October 19).

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains for treatment. His injuries are said to be minor. The man was later arrested on suspicion of drug and driving offences.
Pictures from the scene show the front garden wall of a property on Broadstone Road completely destroyed by the impact. A large tree also appears to have been knocked over and can be see sprawled across the pavement.
