A teenage boy accused of murdering a friend denied having anything to do with his death. The 17-year-old is on trial alongside two other teenagers, who can't be named for legal reasons, who are all accused of murdering Alan Szelugowski in Clowes Park, Salford.
Alan, 17, was found to have suffered 20 stab and slash wounds to his head and body, and was discovered in the park by dog walkers the following morning.
Jurors at Minshull Street Crown Court have heard that Alan had 'fallen out' with Boy A, one of the other teenagers accused of murder.
He and Alan had arranged to meet in Clowes Park to 'sort things out', jurors were told. Boy A claimed he was owed money after he'd sold Alan cannabis.
