An 18-year-old allegedly threw a burning cereal box at a kitten after having an argument with its owner. William Carr, from Milton in Florida, is accused of setting the cereal box on fire with a blowtorch before throwing it into a bucket where he'd placed the kitten.

The teenager was painting a house with the kitten's owner who had brought along her cats and their little baby, according to reports.

An arrest affidavit detailed that the owner, who has not been named, met Carr on Friday to help him do some painting inside a house, The Sun reports.

But when they ended up arguing, Carr threatened to kill her pets, it is alleged. Carr then allegedly put the kitten into a bucket and then used a blow torch to set a cereal box on fire.
