A teenager was found to have drugs and cash worth thousands of pounds after police swooped on him in a Scots street.The 18-year-old was cornered in George Street, Paisley, Renfrewshire, yesterday morning.
As well as class A drugs with a street value of around £2,000, officers discovered a 4-figure sum of cash.He was stopped at 11.50am by officers from the Renfrewshire Violence Reduction Unit after allegedly "acting suspiciously" on Friday, May 19.
A post on the Renfrewshire Police Division Facebook page said: "He was arrested and charged with drug supply offences and possession of a large knife.
