Teen Carly Gregg Found Guilty For Murdering Mom -- But She Could Get Out Sooner Than You Think!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Carly Gregg has been found guilty on all charges… As we’ve been following, the 14-year-old shocked the world when she was arrested following the murder of her mother Ashley Smylie and attempted murder of her stepdad Heath Smylie (pictured above, inset).

The Mississippi native was shown in recently released CCTV footage entering her home and grabbing a handgun, then casually walking to her mom’s room and killing her.

After this, she went into the kitchen and texted a friend asking if they’d ever seen a dead body — all while waiting for her stepdad to come home. She was promptly arrested and charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and tampering with evidence. On Friday morning while being tried as an adult, she was found guilty on all of these charges and sentenced just minutes later.
