Teddy Sheringham thinks Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy should give Harry Kane respect and allow him to join Manchester United if he desires.
It's understood Erik ten Hag has made Kane his priority striker target this summer, but landing the 29-year-old's signature won't be straightforward, despite the player being out of contract next summer.
Levy has built a reputation as a tricky negotiator and Kane is expected to command a transfer fee in excess of £80million. Sheringham, who made the switch from Tottenham to United himself for trophies in 1997, was recently asked about Kane's future and he advised Levy to show respect to the player and his desire for a potential move away.
