'Teacup' Canceled After One Season by Peacock

Sad news for fans of Teacup. On Friday (January 17), it was announced that Peacock has canceled the horror thriller series starring Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski after one season, according to Deadline.

The series was inspired by the Robert McCammon bestselling novel Stinger, and followed a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. Keep reading to find out more…The cast also included Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux.

While the story was essentially wrapped up in the end of the season 1 finale, which aired back in October 2024, showrunner Ian McCulloch shared in an interview that he had some more ideas explore if the show was to be renewed.
