But if that tasty proposition isn’t enough to have the chart-topping queen of pop chewing over a invite to invest in Motherwell Football Club then chairman Jim McMahon is confident there are plenty more who might fancy a bite.The outgoing Well supremo took centre stage yesterday to face questions over what he dubs the “quirky” video campaign aimed at attracting fresh investment into the Steelmen.Starring first team players, fans and fading out with a young punter pleading for Swift to “gie us some dosh” the 90-second video - produced at a five-figure cost to the club - had been branded toe-curling by sections of the club’s fanbase fearing it was a social media begging bowl.

But the clip has viewed two-and-a-half million times in just two days with more than 10 expressions of interest arriving in the same time.

No wonder McMahon has met the flak with a willingness, in the words of Swift, to Shake it Off.Motherwell are financially stable insists the chairman who intends to stand down at next month’s AGM.

There’s enough cash in the bank to cover the next two years. But with big money investors pumping their cash into rivals such as Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs the club know they can’t afford to stand still.McMahon said: “We have had about 10 declarations of interest, that have contacted and asked if we could have a further chat about potentially investing.
