Swift channeled her inner “Clueless” in a yellow and black plaid dress with black shorts, gloves and boots. She wore her blonde hair down in waves and opted for a dark makeup look.The songstress was quick to bust a move to Eminem’s opening number.
Swift, who was sat next to her “Fortnight” collaborator Post Malone, danced with Jack Antonoff’s wife, Margaret Qualley.Though she won’t be rocking the stage tonight, there are rumors that the “You Belong With Me” might perform with Sabrina Carpenter or Shawn Mendes, according to Tribune.Leading the nomination board with 10 nods, Swift, 34, can make history tonight by being named the artist with the most VMA awards.
She currently has 23 awards under her belt.Swift will surpass Beyonce, who currently has 30 VMA awards, if she does.Swift is nominated for 12 awards this year, including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for her 12th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” This could be the second time this year the “Cruel Summer” singer will make music history.
