Most of the track is thought to be about how fate brought her and boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, together. (Cute, right?) But, there's also one lyric that kinda sounds like she's hinting that she and one of her exes are now good friends.She sings, "Cold was the steel of my axe to grind / For the boys who broke my heart / Now I send their babies presents," on the eleventh track.
