The singer, 30, teased on Thursday that she’d be releasing Folklore at midnight – the same day that Kanye was set to drop new release Donda: With Child.While Taylor did drop Folklore on Friday, Ye’s album missed the midnight release on streaming services.The Shake It Off singer has faced speculation that the clash with Kanye’s own release was engineered for publicity.
However, Taylor explained on social media that she went with her ‘gut’ and tried not to think too much about the ‘perfect time’ to bless fans with the 16-song album.
