Strictly Come Dancing is back on the BBC this weekend, and among the glittering lineup is 26-year-old TV star, Tasha Ghouri.
Born in Thirsk and deaf from birth, she didn't learn to speak until she was five years old.Up until that point, British Sign Language was her primary means of communication.
This significant milestone in her life was supported by her parents Nicky Young and Tarek Ghouri, as well as her brother Alex.Tasha's dance journey began in her early years with ballet lessons, later moving onto commercial streetstyle.
After finishing her education, she relocated to London and signed with a modelling agency.
