Friday Night Dinner star Tamsin Greig has revealed she attempted to persuade her late co-star Paul Ritter against taking part in the shows 10th Anniversary special.The actress, who played Paul’s on-screen wife in the popular comedy sitcom, spoke fondly of the late actor’s bravery as he continued with the episode despite his declining health.
Paul, who sadly died at last month from a brain tumour at the age of 54, bravely carried on filming for the award-winning show earlier this year and the documentary is set to air on May 28.Tamsin revealed to the Metro: “Sadly at the time of making the documentary, Paul was pretty unwell and to be honest – and don’t tell the producers this – but I did try and persuade him not to do the interview.
