WJSN singer SeolA has become the first member of the girl group to go solo with the release of single album ‘Inside Out’, featuring the title track ‘Without U’.‘Inside Out’ was released yesterday (January 23), led by title track ‘Without U’ alongside two B-sides, ‘Let’s Talk (Loneliness)’ and ‘No Girl’. An accompanying music video for ‘Without You’ was also released simultaneously.

Starship Entertainment have confirmed that WJSN members Luda and Dawon are still part of the girl group.Yesterday, in a statement to South Korean news outlet TV Report, Starship Entertainment clarified the status of the two K-pop idols, noting that the duo “have not left WJSN”.The statement came shortly after WJSN member Soobin appeared on the YouTube channel Han Moon Chul TV, where she stated that the girl group “are still 10 members” and “have always been 10”, per Soompi.Luda and Dawon status as members of WJSN had been in question over the past week, after the pair left the K-pop agency. The duo were the only Korean members of the group to not renew their contract with Starship Entertainment.At the time, the K-pop agency said that they had “carried out sincere and in-depth discussions” with Luda and Dawon before their contracts ended.

Starship Entertainment has bid goodbye to WJSN members Luda, Dawon, Xuanyi, Chengxiao and Meiqi following the expiration of their contracts.On March 3, Starship released a statement announcing the departure of WJSN members Luda and Dawon, as well as inactive Chinese members Xuanyi, Chengxiao and Meiqi from the agency.“Starship Entertainment recently renewed contracts with the eight members Exy, Seola, Bona, Soobin, Eunseo, Yeoreum, Dayoung and Yeonjung of our agency artist WJSN,” said the agency, per Soompi.“We carried out sincere and in-depth discussions with members Luda and Dawon for a long time, but unfortunately our exclusive contracts [with Luda and Dawon] will come to an end. We express deep gratitude for the great efforts and dedication shown by Luda and Dawon until now,” Starship added.The agency revealed that members Xuanyi, Chengxiao, and Meiqi, who joined WJSN through Starship’s partnership with Chinese entertainment agency Yuehua Entertainment, would also be leaving the group.

Starship Entertainment, home to acts like MONSTA X and IVE, has threatened to take legal action against malicious posts about its artists.On September 22, the South Korean agency released an official statement regarding its position on such cyber attacks on its artists. WJSN members Exy and SeolA have been injured in a car accident.In a statement, WJSN’s agency Starship Entertainment reported that both members, along with their manager, had been involved in a car accident earlier today (August 31) while traveling to their scheduled activities for the day. The agency added that they were quickly transported to the nearest emergency room and did not sustain serious injuries from the incident.“After a thorough examination, both members had no fractures but needed additional treatment and time to rest due to muscle pain and bruises,” Starship Entertainment’s statement reads, as translated by Soompi.
