Mermaids and Stonewall have condemned Caitlyn Jenner’s controversial stance of opposing trans girls competing in girls’ sports teams. Former Olympian Caitlyn, who came out as trans in 2015, declared athletes who are born male shouldn’t be able to compete in girls’ sports competitions and later doubled down on her opinions on social media. ‘I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school,’ she told TMZ.
