Momma have announced details of their new album ‘Welcome To My Blue Sky’ and shared the lead single ‘I Want You (Fever)’ – listen below.The Brooklyn-based four-piece will release the album on April 4 via Lucky Number / Polyvinyl and you can pre-order/pre-save it here. It will be the band’s fourth album in total and serves as the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Household Name’.‘I Want You (Fever)’ showcases the band’s spiky, ‘90s-throwback indie aesthetic, with hooky, double-vocal leads and scuzzy, slacker guitar lines.

Today (November 26) 33 performing artists have been shared, and Knocked Loose have been confirmed as headliners.The slot at the top of the bill comes following the release of the Kentucky hardcore band sharing their latest album, ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’, earlier this year.Also on the bill for the Manchester two-day event are Alex G and Danny Brown, as well as English rock group Slowdive.Elsewhere, Denzel Curry, Momma, Tigers Jaw, Sunny Day Real Estate, Drug Church and Superheaven join the bill, as do former NME Cover stars, Militarie Gun, Model/Actriz and Julie.Tickets for the 2025 edition of Outbreak go live at 10am on Friday (November 29).

Last month, Momma shared their third full-length album, Household Name, and took their first bona fide step toward the sort of success their record’s title implies. Founded in Los Angeles by Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten, they’ve since moved to Brooklyn and added multi-instrumentalist and producer Aron Kobayashi Ritch to their full-time lineup.

Momma make music that feels urgent while maintaining a cool, unbothered ethos that harkens back to '90s slacker rock. Their respective masteries of both these poles are indebted to their current city of residence (New York) and their hometown (Los Angeles). Dual frontwomen Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten's catchy guitar angularity and soothing vocal smoothness have made them rising indie stars, and they'll hitch their wagon to two alt-supernovae this year, joining Wet Leg on the west coast leg of their American tour next month and Snail Mail on the east coast and midwest over the summer, with a few solo shows and a gig with Illuminati Hotties in England in between.
